You might be asking what makes a phone “Fox’y”, right? Well in this case it’s because this smartphone runs on the Firefox OS (Operating System). The ZTE Open C is the first smartphone to run on the Firefox OS version 1.3 and it’s packed with more features than a phone that sell for about $100 (US) usually comes with. That’s why this is one “Fox’y” smartphone.
This latest ZTE smartphone featuring the latest version of the Firefox OS (Operating System) has much to offer at a price that is even more foxy! It comes with a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU chip by Qualcomm, 4GB of internal memory with an expansion slot for additional memory (I know all us eGeeks always need more memory for all our apps), a 3 megapixel camera, a 4” display plus much more. This latest version of the Firefox OS does have some very nice features including a direct music player from the lock screen or notification bar, advanced Bluetooth sharing as well as a real cool feature that allows multiple files to be transferred at the same time. Another real cool feature that all us “eGeeks” will like is the adaptive app search feature which lets the user instantly use an app once or you can download the app to keep. This will save a lot of us from downloading an app once then having to remove it from our device after we are done with it and that in my opinion is a real neat feature and can be a big time saver.
Now none of these features are cutting edge technology but this phone is targeted for the first time smartphone buyer as well as those budget minded buyers and besides, for only about $100 bucks it might be worth it to get one just to play around with. Since this new smartphone by ZTE has such a low price it won’t put a big dent in your wallet so that way all us “eGeeks” can get one to play around with and save most of our money for more important things like maybe a new touch screen laptop or maybe just some pizza for dinner while we are surfing the web!
